Fans of the Naturo series, like most fans in general, often love reimagining the characters in new stories, often combining them with other familiar universes. And who better to do this than the Disney characters? Fans have created all kinds of artwork combining the two themes: ranging from one-shot images to entire comics acting out your favorite stories. Sometimes, the characters match up entirely; other times, not so much, but that is what makes it fun.
Today, we're sharing some of our favorites with you. And remember, there's bound to be spoilers, both for Disney films and the Naruto franchise.

10 Naruto Ladies/The Muses
Thanks to Deviantart userGothicDancer,Karin, Shizune, Tsunade, Anko, and Konan appear as five of the most memorable characters from Disney's Hercules: the original Greek Chorus, the Muses. According to the artist, this work is especially meant to honor the adult women of the Naruto world, adding thatKurenai would be the story's Megara.
9 Shikamaru/Peter Pan
[CrystalLynnblud / Deviantart]
Deviantart userCrystalLynnbludshared this fanart showingShikamaru as the boy who never grew up, Peter Pan. His famous fairy sidekick,Tinkerbell, is meant to be a sassy, feisty blonde, so the artist realized that Ino was perfect for the role. 7 Naruto/Simba
Thanks to Deviantart userCatgirl08,Naruto takes a spin with Disney's famous take on Shakespeare's Hamlet, The Lion King. We see the famous spiky-haired hero as Simba as a cub.
In the background, we see his father, the great Minato, as the mighty Mufasa, complete with an elegant mane and an even more impressive cape. Perhaps one day he will grow up to be his father's successor, the "Worthy Hokage."
6 Naruto Girls/Disney Princesses
Disney Princesses are like potato chips. Why have just one when you can have a bunch? 4 Hinata and Naruto/Beauty and the Beast
Naruto has a bit of the beast inside him: he has a nine-tailed fox sealed inside of him. That hasn't stopped Hinata from loving him. Knowing this, the couple might remind some people of another fairy tale couple from a certain Disney film: Beauty and the Beast.
Deviantart user belletiger must certainly agree, casting Hinata and Belle and Naruto as a Kyuubi serving as her Beast Prince.
3 Sakura/Mulan
Deviantart user Kivae is known for her webcomic series, which casts the Naruto characters into classic stories, including Disney films. The world of Naruto is filled with plenty of tough warrior women who'd be perfect for Mulan, and Kivae cast Sakura in the role. After her temper (and forehead) get her in trouble with the local matchmaker, Sakura finds herself disguising herself as a boy to take her elderly father's place as a soldier when he is drafted. She might not have a "talking lizard to comfort her" but with hard work, courage...and cross-dressing friends...she might prove to be the heroine the Emperor needs.
2 Hinata/Cinderella
In many ways, you can call Hinata the Cinderella of the Naruto franchise, as this shy, kindhearted girl went from a minor character in the manga to become one of the leading ladies of the whole franchise. In this comic, Hinata becomes the famous princess-to-be, Cinderella herself, at the mercy of her two wicked sisters: her cousinNeji and haughty bad girl Ino. When King Jiraiya announces a gala ball so that Prince Naruto may choose a bride among the eligible girls, "Hinarella" is left behind. Luckily, her fairy godmother, Gaara, has not forgotten her and tells her to stop feeling sorry for herself. After offering to kill someone for her, the fairy uses his magic to transform Hinata so that she too can go to the ball.
Of course, it is the sweet, charming Hinata who wins Prince Naruto's heart, but there is a catch: she must leave the ball by midnight...or Gaara will kill her. But, with the help of a tiny slipper made of glass, and it's mate, the prince and his princess might find each other again. Now, if only Hinata can keep the nosebleeds under control, we might just have a happy ending.
1 Sasuke/Snow White
With his ebony, dark hair and pale, alabaster-like skin, only Sasuke could play the role of the beautiful princess Snow White, the Disney Princess that started it all. His beautiful looks get him in trouble with his wicked stepmother...or elder brother, King Itachi, who promptly orders the princess executed. Luckily, Princess Sasuke is taken in by a group of forest dwarves, played byTeam Ebisu, who will let him stay in exchange for tending house while they go off and do "dwarf things."
However, the wicked king has a plan...turn the princess into a flea, trap him in a box, and smash him with a hammer, but when that requires too much postage, he settles on tricking the princess into eating a poisoned apple, trapping him in a death-like sleep. Now, as the dwarves cannot afford proper funeral arrangements, they keep vigil over their sleeping princess. But, perhaps, Prince Naruto could find some way to save the day.
