Dear Patron: Please don't scroll past this. The Internet Archive is a nonprofit fighting for universal access to quality information. We build and maintain all our own systems, but we don’t charge for access, sell user information, or run ads. Instead, we're powered by online donations averaging $15.58. We'd be deeply grateful if you'd join the one in a thousand users that support us financially.
We understand that not everyone can donate right now, but if you can afford to contribute this Friday, we promise it will be put to good use. Our resources are crucial for knowledge lovers everywhere—so if you find all these bits and bytes useful, please pitch in.

Robot Unicorn Attack is a Flash game developed by Spiritonin Media Games and published by Adult Swim. It's an endless runner where players take control of a robotic unicorn. The goal is to get the highest score, which is obtained by running for as long as possible, collecting pixies, and dashing through crystal stars.
Robot Unicorn Attack was ported to iOS and Android, and received several sequels and spinoffs. The most recent was the 2017 mobile-exclusive Robot Unicorn Attack 3. The game's viral fame led to a surge in popularity for the 1994 song Always by the British band Erasure, as it was the game's soundtrack.
As of November 2020, it is fully playable in Ruffle with a few graphical bugs.

Hush everyone, lest Erasure tries to sue Internet Archive too in a misguided attempt to "make more money" (not realizing that letting this game circulate is FREE PUBLICITY-people will buy the track as long as you aren't greedy corporate asshats about it).
The greedy corporate asshats are going to take away all of our hopes, dreams, games, books, movies, music...support Internet Archive and encourage their fight against the corporate asshats! ALWAYS!

My god, what a flashback! My group was obsessed with this game in high school. We could only play it on a webpage that JUST hosted Robot Unicorn Attack since all the normal sites were blocked. Playing it now and realizing what an incredible sensory overload it is. I don't know how I coped!

This is the most triumphant flash game the internet ever saw. I played it for hours and I am forever grateful to the kind people who worked to preserve this game and other flash content!

Yassssssssssssssssssssssssssss. Robot Unicorn forever.
Shame the idiot developers have no sense of love for the past. Like leaving this behind is as bad as leaving pac man behind. You just don't do it. I'd pay 5 bucks again and again to keep playing this on newer phones and my laptop.

I was so worried that I'd have to maintain some archaic vulnerable browser config into 2021 to relish this classic. Thank you for preserving it!
