REPORTS
ROBBERY, 2024-06190090, 700 block of Glebe Road. At approximately 1:43 p.m. on June 19, police were dispatched to the report of a robbery. Upon arrival, it was determined that the suspect entered the store, collected merchandise, and walked towards the exit without paying for the items. When confronted by an employee, the suspect pushed the employee and subsequently dropped some of the items before fleeing the scene on foot. Responding officers conducted a canvass of the area yielding negative results. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 5’10”, wearing a blue hat, black shirt, and blue shorts. The investigation is ongoing.
ROBBERY, 2024-06230160, 2000 block of Clarendon Boulevard. At approximately 9:19 p.m. on June 23, police were dispatched to the report of a larceny just occurred. Upon arrival, it was determined the male suspect entered the business, collected merchandise and attempted to leave without payment during which an employee confronted him. The suspect then attempted to strike the employee with the merchandise before exiting the store and fleeing the scene on foot. No injuries were reported. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 25-26 years old, 5’7” wearing all black clothing and a gray mask. The investigation is ongoing.
UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2024-06210214, 4600 block of S. Four Mile Run Drive. At approximately 6:32 p.m. on June 21, police were dispatched to the report of a burglary just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined the male victim briefly exited his apartment and upon returning, he observed the male suspect inside of his residence. The victim confronted the suspect who subsequently exited the unit. The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’4”-5’7”, 50-60 years old. The investigation is ongoing.
